I am a surf, travel, adventure, and portrait photographer driven by movement, connection, and the stories that live between places. Under my brand Nomadik Lenz, my work is rooted in a nomadic spirit, shaped by life on the road, time in the ocean, and a deep relationship with wild landscapes and the people who move through them. After serving 14 years in the military, I found healing and freedom through travel, surfing, and creative expression. Photography became more than a craft; it became a way to process, to reconnect, and to see the world with curiosity and intention. My camera is both a tool for storytelling and a bridge between my inner world and the environments I explore. My work blends adventure-driven imagery with intimate, narrative portraiture. Whether I’m documenting life in the mountains, capturing moments in the surf, or creating conceptual portrait series, I aim to tell honest stories that celebrate resilience, identity, and the beauty of being in motion. I’m drawn to the in-between moments, where vulnerability, strength, and authenticity intersect. Currently completing my BFA in Photography at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and preparing for graduate studies, I continue to evolve my visual language through travel, collaboration, and lived experience. My goal is to create work that not only captures places, but also the feeling of belonging, to the ocean, to the road, and to the ever-changing journey of becoming. Through Nomadik Lenz, I invite viewers into a world shaped by salt water, mountain air, and a belief that the most powerful stories are found when we step outside our comfort zones and follow what calls us forward.
